About Spetsautocenter
«Spetsautocenter» is a separate structural subdivision of GlavUpDK under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation exercising some of its functions including representation functions.
The subdivision commercially provides work and services concerning vehicle maintenance and repair for foreign and Russian entities and persons.
Full name in English: «Spetsautocenter» branch of Main Administration for Service to the Diplomatic Corps (GlavUpDK) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Short name in English: «Spetsautocenter» branch of GlavUpDK under the MFA of the Russian Federation.
The branch includes:
Transport department that supports operations at structural subdivisions of GlavUpDK under the MFA of the Russian Federation as well as «Medincenter», «Inpredkadry», and «Spetsautocenter» branches. Vehicle service station (VSS), a specialized service center providing a wide range of automotive services. Traditionally, customers of Spetsautocenter»s VSS are officials of embassies and missions located in Moscow. The VSS is equipped with modern diagnostic, measurement and professional instrumentation for mechanical and painting work as well as bodywork repair complying with the requirements of manufacturing plants.
Branch services conform to GOST R and ISO 9001 standards.
Spetsautocenter is accredited as a vehicle inspection operator by the Russian Association of Motor Insurers and renders vehicle inspection services.
History
«Spetsautocenter» branch of GlavUpDK under the MFA of the Russian Federation was established in 1976 on the basis of the Garage for foreign missions.
In 1986 a repair department building was constructed in close vicinity to the parking facilities. Thus the range of Spetsautocenter»s services widened significantly with addition of car wash, technical inspection and repair services.
In 1988, for the first time in the USSR and Russia, a section for BMW cars maintenance and repair was established in cooperation with West German Gewika firm. In June 2005 Spetsautocenter was reorganized into a GlavUpDK branch
